Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • Parsley, fresh for garnishing
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 slice(s) bacon, breakfast bacon (chopped)
  • 300 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan
  • 4 egg yolks

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Irish style

To prepare the sauce: Melt the butter in a wok. Fry the bacon in the butter until browned. Add the cream and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat slightly, stir in the Parmesan cheese, and simmer for another 2 minutes. Remove the wok from the heat ring and stir in the egg yolks. Set the carbonara aside for a moment. For the pasta: Bring a large pot of water and oil to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Drain. Mix the sauce and pasta well, sprinkle with parsley, and serve. Enjoy!
