Spaghetti with cream, cheese and walnuts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 250 ml cream
  • 160 g Parmesan
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 walnuts
  • 4 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • little salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic, parsley, and walnuts, and grate the cheese. Sauté the garlic in olive oil until translucent and deglaze with a ladleful of pasta water. Add the cream and bring to a boil. Mix the pasta with the sauce, then remove from the heat. Stir in the cheese, black pepper, and the walnut pieces. Add a little more pasta water, if needed, to make the sauce creamy. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
