Spaghetti with hunter's sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 handful of herbs, mixed, frozen or fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cook spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente. Dice the onion and fry in a pan with oil. Add the minced meat and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Clean and slice the mushrooms, halving large ones first. Add to the minced meat along with the garlic and season again with salt, pepper, and parsley. Slice the spring onions. Briefly sauté everything in the pan and deglaze with the stock. Add the cream cheese and thicken with flour. Add a good handful of herbs and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Tip: You can also omit the herbs and use herb cream cheese instead.
