Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 small onion(s), finely diced
- 150 g feta cheese, diced
- 200 ml cream
- 200 ml milk
- 150 g smoked salmon, cut into strips
- pepper, black
- 2 tbsp coriander, chopped
- 1 shot of brandy
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Cook the pasta in salted water. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a pot and briefly sauté the onion. Pour in the milk and cream and bring to a boil. Add the brandy. Reduce the heat, add the smoked salmon to the sauce, and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Stir in the coriander and season with pepper. Pour the sauce over the drained spaghetti. Mix in the feta and serve immediately. Notes: This is really quick to prepare. The coriander can be replaced with parsley, but it’s worth trying the original, as the coriander – unlike usual – doesn’t overpower the dish as much. Salt is really unnecessary thanks to the smoked salmon and feta. If you want something more substantial, you can also use just cream.
