Spaghetti with spring onion and minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g spaghetti (or other pasta)
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 375 ml broth (instant beef broth or homemade)
  • 125 ml cream, or Rama Cremefine
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, or any other
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs, fresh or dried
  • Cherry tomatoes

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

a quick, light pasta dish

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic, wash the spring onions and slice them into thin rings. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the minced meat until well browned. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Add the diced onion and garlic and brown. Deglaze with the stock and stir in the cream (or Cremefine). Add the spring onion rings and simmer until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Season with herbs, if desired. Mix with the drained pasta and serve. If you like, you can add quartered cocktail tomatoes along with the spring onions; they add a bit of color to the plate and go very well with the flavor!
