Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ kg spare ribs
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp rice wine or sherry
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Sambal Oelek, or more or less to taste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, squeezed or chopped
  • some paprika powder
  • some pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 35 minutes

Pork ribs for grilling or baking

Mix all the ingredients and let the ribs marinate, preferably overnight. Grill them over charcoal for 30 minutes. I think they taste good in the oven, too.
