Ingredients for 2 servings:
- ½ kg spare ribs
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 tbsp rice wine or sherry
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp Sambal Oelek, or more or less to taste
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, squeezed or chopped
- some paprika powder
- some pepper, from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 35 minutes
Pork ribs for grilling or baking
Mix all the ingredients and let the ribs marinate, preferably overnight. Grill them over charcoal for 30 minutes. I think they taste good in the oven, too.
