Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 3 kg ribs
- 1 bottle of sauce (barbecue sauce)
- 4 tbsp honey
- 2 cups tomato ketchup
- Garlic
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes
Spare ribs
Wash the ribs, dry them, and cut them into portions. Mix the remaining ingredients into a sauce, brush the ribs generously on both sides, and marinate overnight. The next day, place the ribs on the oven rack, preferably with a drip tray underneath, and brush the tops of the ribs again. Roast at 150°C (290°F) for about 1 to 1 1/4 hours. The spare ribs will then be buttery soft. Serve with coleslaw and fries or baguette.
