Spare ribs for the grill

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 kg pork spare ribs
  • ½ liter of beer (dark beer)
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 100 ml ketchup
  • 4 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50 ml oil (sunflower oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Combine all the other ingredients except the meat to create a nice marinade. Combine the marinade and meat in a large bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for a day. The next day, place the spare ribs on a heated grill, grilling on the side at low temperature for about 1.5 to 2 hours. During this time, brush the ribs repeatedly with the leftover marinade. This will ensure they become nice and crispy, prevent them from drying out, and slide easily off the bone.
