Knead all ingredients together thoroughly; you may need to add a little more flour. Then shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about an hour. If desired, you can increase the temperature slightly towards the end to make the bread crispier. However, be careful with the protruding pieces of bell pepper, as they burn quickly. The bread tastes great with hummus, cheese, Obazda (traditional German sausage), etc. Tip: If desired, you can also add sun-dried tomatoes, onions, or grated carrots. It will keep well for up to three days if stored properly.
