Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter / margarine
  • 300 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 350 g flour
  • ¾ pack of baking powder
  • 60 g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp, sautéed cloves
  • 1 tsp, smothered cinnamon
  • some nutmeg
  • 125 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix the butter and sugar thoroughly until you can no longer hear the sugar scraping in the bowl. Then add the eggs, one at a time. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Add the spices. Alternate the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder with the milk until you have a dough that falls off a spoon. Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake at 175°C for about 50-60 minutes. Then let the cake cool and dust with powdered sugar.
