Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 vanilla pod(s) (approx. 1-2 cm)
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of cardamom
  • 1 bar of chocolate (milk, dark – whatever your heart desires)
  • 1 tbsp whipped cream (optional)
  • 1 tsp chocolate rolls (optional)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

For cold winter evenings

Bring the milk to a boil with the cloves and vanilla pod. Remove from the heat, remove the cloves and vanilla pod, pour into a large mug, and melt the broken chocolate. Stir in the cinnamon and cardamom (use the amount carefully!). Add whipped cream, if desired, and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles. Tip: If you don’t have a vanilla pod on hand, you can add 1-2 drops of vanilla-flavored cooking oil instead. Garnish with a cinnamon stick for guests.
