Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) ginger root, fresh, peeled
  • 1 cinnamon stick(s)
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 500 ml tea, black, hot
  • n. B. Milk (3.5% fat content)
  • possibly sugar or rock candy

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Roast ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom in a pan without oil. Then bring to a boil in black tea. Stir in milk and sugar, if desired, and pour through a fine sieve into a preheated teapot.
