Spicy baked potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 m.-sized potatoes
  • 50 g butter, cold
  • e.g. Paprika powder, hot
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the potatoes and brush them if necessary. Halve them, cut a slit lengthwise down the middle, and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cut the butter into small pieces and place them in the slit. Sprinkle the potatoes with seasonings to taste. Place the sheet in the oven preheated to 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes (test with a knife). I like to serve them with herb and garlic quark and Greek shepherd’s salad. These potatoes are also a great side dish for fish or meat (grilled?).
