Spicy chickpea salad

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 gr. can/n chickpeas
  • 3 tbsp sesame paste (tahini)
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 2 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 100 ml buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp vinegar, white balsamic vinegar nB
  • 1 bunch parsley, flat, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Drain the chickpeas and let them drain. Mix the remaining ingredients into a marinade and stir it into the chickpeas. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour. The salad can be served in small glasses, for example, at a buffet, or as an appetizer. It also goes wonderfully with grilled food. We like it best when it’s marinated at least overnight.
