Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg salt water (watermelon)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • a few sprigs of dill
  • 2 lemons, juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes, removing the rind, and place in a large bowl. Peel the garlic, slice it into fairly fine slices, and add it to the bowl along with the bay leaves, chili pepper (don’t chop it too much, or it will be too spicy), salt, and dill. Add the lemon juice and mix everything well. Cover the watermelon and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 2 hours, then serve cold.
