Spicy Paprika Feta Dip

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large bell pepper(s), large
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 g cream cheese (Philadelphia)
  • 400 g feta cheese
  • chili powder
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut and trim the bell peppers. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top heat) for about 10 minutes (until the skin is slightly charred). Allow the bell peppers to cool slightly. In the meantime, place the cream cheese and peeled garlic cloves in a bowl. Peel the skins off the bell peppers and dice the feta cheese. Add the bell peppers and half of the feta cheese to the bowl with the spices. Blend well. Then add the rest of the feta cheese and blend again slightly (not too runny). Important: Do not add salt—the feta cheese is salty enough. This goes perfectly with fresh (warm) bread, or it’s also delicious as a substitute for tzatziki with meat, boiled potatoes, and a tasty salad.
