Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Wash the potatoes and cook in salted water. Drain, allow to cool, peel, and slice. Meanwhile, peel and dice the onion and finely chop the ham. Remove the seeds and membranes from the peppers, then wash and dice them. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the prepared vegetables with the diced ham. Add the potato slices, stir, and pour the mixture into a small springform pan approximately 20 cm in diameter. Whisk the egg with the milk and season with chili powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the potato and vegetable mixture and cook in the oven at 180°C (165°C fan-assisted oven) on the middle rack for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, trim and wash the leek and sauté it in a little salted water until soft. Drain, season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the potato tart with chives and arrange on a plate with the leek mixture. Alternative without ham: topped with 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese.
