Spicy Pumpkin Goulash

The perfect spicy pumpkin goulash recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Pc. Nutmeg Pumpkin
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 wreath Turkey extra sausage
  • 2 Pc. Onion
  • 4 Pc. Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Tomato pulp
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 0,125 liter White wine
  • Water as required
  • Sweet paprika powder
  • Dried marjoram
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sesame oil
  1. Wash, peel and cut the pumpkin and potatoes into medium-sized cubes. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, then cut the sausage and leave it on the side.
  2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan or roasting pan and sweat the onion and garlic in it until translucent. Add the potatoes and marjoram and roast briefly. Add tomato paste, paprika powder and honey and roast for a few minutes, then deglaze with white wine and fill up with water so that the potatoes are covered. Add salt, pepper and chilli and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Now add the pumpkin and sausage and let the goulash cook until the potatoes and pumpkin are soft
