Spicy rice pot à la Gabi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups rice
  • 100 g ham, raw, cut into strips
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), chopped
  • 50 g green olives, pitted, sliced
  • 1 small can of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Pepper, pickled in vinegar (from the jar), chopped
  • 1 bunch parsley, flat-leaf, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 glass of dry white wine
  • 1 cube of meat broth
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Heat the oil in a large pot. Sauté the rice with the onions, ham, olives, peppers, mushrooms, and parsley. Deglaze with white wine and add enough water to cover the rice. Add the stock cube and cook over low heat in a covered pot for 20 minutes.
