Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 60 g rice, parboiled
- 1 large tomato(s), diced
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), roughly diced
- 75 g Cabanossi, sliced
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper,
- chili flakes
- curry powder
- Vegetable broth, instant
- Basil, fresh or frozen
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Quick dish for singles
Cook the rice in salted water for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, sauté the diced onion and Cabanossi in oil, then add the diced tomatoes and sauté. Now add a splash of water and the tomato paste, season with salt and pepper, mix well, and cook for about 5 minutes. Mix the tomato sauce with the cooked, drained rice and season to taste with the crushed garlic, basil, and all the spices listed.
