Spicy, Yellow Anchovy Mayonnaise – Aioli Anchoiade
The perfect spicy, yellow anchovy mayonnaise – aioli anchoiade recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Optional:
- 2 tsp Chicken broth, Kraft bouillon
- 2 Egg yolks, fresh
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 1 tbsp Lion mustard, hot
- 2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 6 Anchovy fillets, from the glass
- 100 g Olive oil, cold pressed
- Orange juice, lukewarm
To garnish:
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
- Squeeze the garlic and use a wide knife, the salt and the chopped anchovies to make a pulp. Mix together with the egg yolks, lion mustard, turmeric powder and cayenne pepper with a magic wand (hand mixer) until creamy. Let the oil flow in slowly while stirring. If the mixture becomes too stiff, add a little lukewarm orange juice.
