Spicy, Yellow Anchovy Mayonnaise – Aioli Anchoiade

The perfect spicy, yellow anchovy mayonnaise – aioli anchoiade recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Optional:

  • 2 tsp Chicken broth, Kraft bouillon
  • 2 Egg yolks, fresh
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Lion mustard, hot
  • 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 6 Anchovy fillets, from the glass
  • 100 g Olive oil, cold pressed
  • Orange juice, lukewarm

To garnish:

  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  1. Squeeze the garlic and use a wide knife, the salt and the chopped anchovies to make a pulp. Mix together with the egg yolks, lion mustard, turmeric powder and cayenne pepper with a magic wand (hand mixer) until creamy. Let the oil flow in slowly while stirring. If the mixture becomes too stiff, add a little lukewarm orange juice.
