Spinach – tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed (or fresh)
  • 1 shot of sweetener, liquid
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • 300 g spinach
  • 100 g onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel and dice the onions and garlic. Then sauté briefly in a pan. (Grumble the pan with a little oil if needed.) If using fresh tomatoes, peel them and remove the green stems. Then dice them into small cubes. Add them to the pan with 10ml of water. Wash and chop the spinach and add it to the tomatoes, garlic, and onions. Simmer for about 5 minutes and season with salt, pepper, and a little sweetener. The entire dish has 200 kcal and goes very well with pasta or rice.
