Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 2 tbsp Flour all types from 405 to whole grain or:
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Desiccated coconut
  • Biscuit(s) or biscuit, crumbled
  • Poppy seeds (ground)
  • Nuts, of your choice
  • possibly spice(s) to taste such as:
  • Cinnamon, ground
  • Vanilla, ground
  • Cardamom, ground
  • Anise, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 3 minutes

Works for almond, nut, coconut, poppy seed crumble: for a large springform pan or 1 baking tray

Gently heat the marzipan mixture in a bowl in the microwave for 10-15 seconds (this makes it easier to mix). Stir in the flour or other dry mixture by hand until crumbles form. Sprinkle over the cake (pre-baked for 10 minutes if necessary) and continue baking. The heat and baking time depend on the cake you choose. Tip: If you don’t have a microwave, you can seal the marzipan mixture in a freezer bag and pour boiling water over it. For fruit casseroles or crumbles, pour the mixture into an ovenproof casserole dish over well-drained fruit (canned, frozen, pre-cooked, or fresh fruit such as berries and thin slices of apple or pear) and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
