Starter: Onion Soup with Cream

The perfect starter: onion soup with cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 g Fresh onion
  • Or 2 small ones
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 0,5 tbsp Flour
  • 300 ml Vegetable broth
  • 150 ml Milk
  • Salt
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 0,5 tbsp Fresh coriander
  1. Peel the onion and cut into small pieces. Heat the oil in a saucepan and lightly fry the onion.
  2. Scatter the flour on top, after about 1 minute pour in the stock and milk. Salt to taste.
  3. Bring to the boil and then simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Cut the coriander into small pieces and add to the soup together with the cream. Turn off the stove and let the soup steep for a moment.
