Steaks with Onion Rings and Hearty Mashed Potatoes
The perfect steaks with onion rings and hearty mashed potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Boned comb disks
- 2 tablespoon Mustard
- Spice mix steak seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 3 Freshly sliced onions
- 6 Roughly diced potatoes
- 1 Roughly diced onion
- 0,5 Tea egg Caraway seeds
- 4 tablespoon Milk hot
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- Nutmeg, salt
- Peel and roughly dice the potatoes and onions and cook both with the caraway seeds in salted water until soft.
- Brush the comb slices with the mustard, season with the spices, pat them in a little,
- Heat a little fat in the frying pan and fry the combs on one side, then add the onions and turn the meat. Now slowly fry both of them. Melt a tablespoon of butter just before serving.
- Drain the potatoes, remove the caraway seeds, add milk and butter, add freshly ground nutmeg and process everything into a pulp.
- Now serve with the steaks and the onion rings, I added a salad.
