Stock: Orange Syrup
The perfect stock: orange syrup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 ml Freshly squeezed orange juice
- 80 g Maple syrup
- Mix the freshly squeezed orange juice – WITHOUT pulp – with the maple syrup and bring to the boil.
- Reduce this mixture until the desired consistency is achieved. (Approx. 10-15 minutes).
- This syrup is ideal for refining ice cream or pudding, for mixing with mineral water or for soaking (but again a little diluted here) cake bases.
