Strawberry-almond puree with sparkling wine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g strawberries
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 shot of dry sparkling wine
  • 1 tbsp almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for yogurt and muesli or as a spread

Chop about 50g of strawberries into pieces. Place the remaining strawberries in a bowl with the sugar and sparkling wine. Blend with a hand blender for about 5 minutes until the sugar has dissolved. Mix the strawberry pieces and almond slivers into the puree. Pour into small jars and screw tightly on the lids. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The puree goes particularly well with muesli, yogurt, or on its own with toast and croissants.
