Strawberry and Basil Jam >>

The perfect strawberry and basil jam >> recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Kg Fresh strawberries
  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 4 tbsp Orange liqueur
  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the stalk and cut into small pieces. Wash the basil too and cut the leaves into strips. Mix everything with the preserving sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil while stirring and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  1. Then remove from the heat, stir in the orange liqueur and pour the jam into twist-off glasses. Screw on and place on the lid for at least 5 minutes. Makes 5 glasses
