Strawberry and Basil Jam >>
The perfect strawberry and basil jam >> recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Kg Fresh strawberries
- 1 bunch Basil
- 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
- 4 tbsp Orange liqueur
- Wash the strawberries, remove the stalk and cut into small pieces. Wash the basil too and cut the leaves into strips. Mix everything with the preserving sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil while stirring and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Then remove from the heat, stir in the orange liqueur and pour the jam into twist-off glasses. Screw on and place on the lid for at least 5 minutes. Makes 5 glasses
