Strawberry and Blueberry Jam

The perfect strawberry and blueberry jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Fresh strawberries
  • 200 g Blueberries fresh
  • 1 Lemon fresh
  • 0,5 Vanilla pod scraped out
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  1. Wash the strawberries, pat dry, pluck the stems off and cut the strawberries into cubes. Clean the blueberries, rinse and pat dry if necessary. Mix the berries with lemon juice, preserving sugar, the scraped-out vanilla pod and pulp in a large saucepan and bring to the boil while stirring. Boil for 4 minutes, skim off the foam if necessary. Immediately pour the jam into jars rinsed with hot water, close tightly and place upside down on a kitchen towel for 5 minutes. Shelf life: about 6 months
