with elderflower syrup and mint

Wash and dry the strawberries, remove the stems, and slice the fruit. Wash and dry the blueberries if desired (but this is usually not necessary). Arrange the strawberry slices on two deep plates or suitable bowls. Add the blueberries. Drizzle each dessert with 1 tablespoon of elderflower syrup. Add more if you prefer it sweeter. Finally, add the natural yogurt to balance the sweetness. Let the strawberries and blueberries soak in the elderflower syrup for about 20 minutes. Just before serving, add a dollop or more of the yogurt and a few fresh mint leaves.
