Strawberry-Campari-Orange Marmalade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 1.3 kg gelling sugar 1:1
  • 1 jar Campari and orange juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Wash, hull, and cut the strawberries into small pieces. Mix the pieces with the gelling sugar and let stand for a few hours (or overnight) to allow the fruit to draw its juices. Now mix a jar of Campari-Orange. I used a 300ml jar, hence the additional 300g of gelling sugar. Boil the strawberry jam. Remove the pot from the heat. Add the jar of Campari-Orange at the end and stir. This prevents the flavor from being overcooked. Pour the jam into prepared jars. You can increase or decrease the amount of cocktail. The same should be done with the gelling sugar. I was able to fill 6 small jars (approx. 250-300ml) with this amount. A total of 2634 kcal.
