Currant-cherry jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g currants, cleaned, sorted
  • 300 g cherry(s), pitted
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Lightly crush the currants and mix them with the preserving sugar. Let stand until the cherries are ready, then add them to the mixture. Now add the preserving sugar and bring everything to a boil. Blend thoroughly with a hand blender. Cook the jam according to the package instructions and fill into hot, rinsed twist-off jars.
