Strawberry cream for cakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g strawberries, frozen, thawed
  • 75 g gelling sugar 3:1
  • 600 g cream
  • 15 tsp San-apart
  • 300 g double cream cheese
  • ¾ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Combine the strawberries and gelling sugar in a saucepan and mash them. Simmer the mixture for about 4-5 minutes until it thickens. Then strain the mixture through a sieve and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Now combine the strawberry mixture with the double cream cheese, cream, vanilla extract, and San-apart, and whip the cream until stiff. Use the cream as a filling or decoration, as desired.
