Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup strawberries, ripe
  • 1 cup sugar, or as needed
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

Wash and quarter the strawberries, then puree them in a tall bowl using a hand blender. If the strawberries are sweet, three-quarters of a coffee cup with sugar might be enough. Add them to the bowl, along with the egg whites, and mix everything with a hand mixer on speed 3 until a light, pink foam forms and the mixture is nice and creamy. Tip: If you like, you can also sink a few strawberries into the foam or add whipped cream on top. But that would be too rich. It can be eaten straight away. If you like it cold, refrigerate it before serving.
