Strawberry jam with orange liqueur

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries, freshly harvested
  • 1 kg gelling sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, grated peel
  • 4 cl orange liqueur

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 24 minutes

De-stem the strawberries, wash them, drain well, and cut them into pieces. Combine them with the gelling sugar and lemon zest and boil for 4 minutes while stirring. Stir in the orange liqueur, pour into jars while still hot, and seal.
