Strawberry jam with white chocolate

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1.6 kg strawberries, peeled
  • 400 g white chocolate coating
  • 2 ½ tsp citric acid
  • 1,000 g gelling sugar, 2 + 1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries, mix with the citric acid and preserving sugar, and let stand for about 1.5 to 2 hours. Roughly chop the chocolate coating. Then cook the strawberries according to the preserving sugar instructions. I roughly pureed the strawberry pieces with a hand blender. Let the cooked jam cool slightly, then add the chocolate and pour into jars. I got 10 jars of 230 ml each.
