Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • 200 ml lemon juice
  • 375 ml vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

nicely fruity, much more aromatic than store-bought, for 2 bottles of 0.7 l each

First, bring the sugar and water to a boil and dissolve the sugar completely. Allow the resulting sugar syrup to cool. In the meantime, wash, hull, and slice the strawberries. Puree the strawberries with the lemon juice. Stir the resulting strawberry puree into the cooled sugar syrup, then add the vodka. Bottle the drink and store in the refrigerator. Makes about two 0.7 l bottles. Shelf life: about 3 months. This recipe makes the limeade relatively sweet, making it suitable for pouring over sparkling wine or vanilla ice cream. If you prefer a more tart flavor, you can of course adjust the amounts of sugar and lemon juice accordingly.
