Strawberry-raspberry jam with vanilla and orange

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g strawberries
  • 200 g raspberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla, ground
  • 1 orange(s), juice and peel
  • 250 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

Combine strawberries, raspberries, orange juice, and grated orange zest in a bowl and blend until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan. Add the gelling sugar and vanilla to the pan. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently for three minutes, stirring frequently. Carefully pour the hot jam into jars (makes 2-3 jars). Close the jars tightly and turn them upside down for five minutes. Then turn them upside down and let them cool at room temperature.
