Strawberry Sour Cream Cake
The perfect strawberry sour cream cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 170 g Flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 80 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 80 g Butter
- 4 tbsp Milk
For covering:
- 2 cups Sour cream
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 500 g Strawberries
For the cast:
- 1 packet Glaze
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 250 ml Water
For the dough:
- Mix the flour and baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl.
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, butter and milk and stir.
- Put the dough in a springform pan and smooth it out.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.
For covering:
- Mix the sour cream with sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Place a cake ring around the baked base and spread the sour cream on it.
- Wash the strawberries, cut them in half and place them on the cake.
For the cast:
- Prepare a cake glaze using cake icing powder, sugar and water and pour over the cake.
