Strawberry Syrup

The perfect strawberry syrup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Cleaned strawberries
  • 2 Lemons, the juice
  • 375 g Sugar
  1. Cut the cleaned strawberries into small pieces and puree them really finely with the magic wand or in the blender and then put them in a large saucepan. Now squeeze in the lemon juice and add the sugar.
  2. Now bring all of them to the boil while stirring, bring to the boil once and then simmer over a low heat for about 30 minutes. Then simply fill into sterile bottles, close them and turn them upside down for the first 15 minutes, let them cool down, label them and that’s it.
  3. The syrup is suitable for desserts and ice cream and when poured with mineral water it makes a wonderful lemonade.
