Strudel with lemon cream cheese filling

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g butter or margarine
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 200 g cream cheese (preferably creamy)
  • 250 g ricotta
  • some flavoring (lemon) – to taste
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Mix flour, butter, sugar, salt, and baking powder into a dough. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and roll out the dough. Mix the cream cheese, ricotta with baking flavor, and sugar until creamy and spread over the dough. Carefully roll up the dough. Bake in the oven at approx. 200°C (top/bottom heat) or 180°C (fan oven) for approx. 25-30 minutes.
