Stuffed baked apples

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized apples, e.g. Cox Orange or Elstar
  • 60 g raisins (rum)
  • 1 tbsp hazelnut brittle
  • 50 g marzipan paste
  • 1 tsp, leveled orange peel, grated, or orange zest

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the apples and core them. Mix the raisins, brittle, crumbled marzipan, and orange zest. Stuff the apples. Place in a greased casserole dish and bake at 200°C (electric oven) for 40-50 minutes. Serve with chilled mascarpone sauce.
