Stuffed breakfast croissants

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 roll(s) of pizza dough from the refrigerated section
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp chives, dried
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Makes 5 croissants filled with ham and scrambled eggs

Crack the four eggs into a bowl, add the grated cheese and chives, and mix well. Scramble the eggs in a non-stick pan without any fat. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 5 long triangles using a pizza cutter. Place a slice of bacon on each of the long sides of the triangle and 1 tablespoon of scrambled eggs in the middle. Roll up from the wide side to the tip. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and shape into croissants. Brush with egg yolk to finish. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 20-25 minutes. Serve any leftover scrambled eggs with the croissants.
