Stuffed mushrooms

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 mushrooms of the same size, possibly 5
  • 1 onion(s) diced
  • 2 slice(s) smoked bacon, streaky
  • 75 g processed cheese
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

For each serving, clean 4-5 mushrooms, remove the stems, and chop them into small pieces. Dice the bacon and fry it in a small pan. Sauté the onions and mushroom stems in this fat. Add the bacon and cream cheese, season well with salt and pepper, and stuff the mushrooms with this mixture. Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes (depending on size) in a preheated oven at 180-200°C (top/bottom heat).
