Stuffed mushrooms

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 mushrooms (giant mushrooms)
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • Gouda, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

with minced meat

Wash, trim, and hollow out the mushrooms. Set the hollowed-out flesh aside. Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet. Finely dice the onion and fry in hot oil until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry. When the meat is cooked, fry the mushroom flesh. Then add the tomato paste, squeeze the garlic, and mix well. Season generously with pepper and salt. Stir well again. Then spoon the meat into the mushroom caps. Sprinkle with Gouda cheese and bake in the oven at approximately 220°C for 30 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown (less with fan). Serve with herb baguette and fresh salad.
