Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250 g prunes
- 2 handfuls of walnuts
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 handful of chocolate sprinkles

Briefly toast the walnuts in a pan and let cool. Halve the prunes lengthwise, fill each with half a walnut, and place in serving bowls. Whip the cream with a little sugar and vanilla sugar until stiff, then spread over the stuffed plums. Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stuffed prunes with cream and chocolate sprinkles are a very traditional winter dessert in Ukraine and are often part of the festive Ukrainian New Year’s or Christmas table.
