Stuffed tomatoes with minced meat

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 250 g minced meat
  • basil
  • Mixed herbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the minced meat with a little cheese and then season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Hollow out the tomatoes and mix a little of the tomato core into the minced meat. Place the remaining ingredients in a greased baking dish. Fill the tomatoes with the minced meat mixture and scatter the remaining cheese over the tomatoes. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, then tear the basil leaves into small pieces and place them on top of the tomatoes. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Rice makes a particularly good side dish.
