Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g butter, liquid
  • 180 g sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 195 g flour
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

almost like the real ones, soft inside, crispy outside

Put the egg, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl. Pour over the melted butter and mix until creamy. Now add the flour and stir well with a spoon, then knead again by hand. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Form 12 balls from the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with paper. Only place 3 balls next to each other at a time, as they spread out a lot. Place the cookies in the oven and immediately reduce the temperature to 175 degrees Celsius and bake for 15 minutes. No longer or less than that, as otherwise the inside will become hard or the outside too soft. Warm, they taste very similar to the original. Cold, they don’t taste quite like the original, but they’re still good. Variations: You can add nuts, Smarties, or cocoa powder to the egg, sugar, and butter mixture. We like them best with macadamia nuts or cocoa powder with white chocolate chips.
