Summer Salad with Melon

The perfect summer salad with melon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Peppers yellow
  • 1 Red peppers
  • 1 Honey or Galia melon
  • 3 Frozen chicken breast fillet or 300 g shrimp
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Lemon
  • 5 tsp Vinegar
  • 3 tsp Mustard sweet
  • Herbs e.g. parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil
  1. Chop the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, bell pepper and melon into small pieces and place in a bowl. Cut the chicken into small pieces, season with salt and pepper and fry. Or let the shrimp thaw slightly and then fry in the pan.
  2. For the dressing, squeeze the orange and lemon and place in a glass. Add oil, vinegar, mustard and herbs and mix. Now pour the dressing over the salad and either pour the meat (shrimp) over it or serve in an extra bowl. Serve with toast or baguette.
