Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 eggs
- 80 g sugar
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 250 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 400 ml whipped cream
- Butter for the waffle iron
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes
Beat the eggs briefly with a mixer, then gradually add the sugar, cardamom, and salt, and beat until thick and creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder, sift it into the mixture, and stir in. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Stir half of the whipped cream into the egg, sugar, and flour mixture until smooth, then lightly fold in the rest of the cream. Heat the waffle iron, grease it with butter, and spoon the batter onto the waffle iron using a tablespoon. Bake the waffles until golden brown. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar. Tips: Serve with strawberries, fruit compote, or cream. If you prefer something a little less fatty, you can replace the cream with Cremefine.
